'Resource Therapy is a trauma-informed, strengths-based psychotherapy that works directly with personality parts to bring healing, resilience, and lasting change.'

We have many parts that make up who we are. Maybe there is a mothering part, an anxiety part, a little part that is carrying some trauma, your work/study part, even a part of us that wants to do things we dont like.
We have many parts that make up who we are. Maybe there is a mothering part, an anxiety part, a little part that is carrying some trauma, your work/study part, even a part of us that wants to do things we dont like.

I have recently become clinically trained in Resource Therapy, and absolutely love working with clients in it. It provides results quickly by helping clients connect with the parts of themselves that are hurting, overwhelmed, or stuck. Resource Therapy empowers clients by working with their internal experiences to bring healing. It helps people move forward with greater clarity, peace, and self-compassion.

Unlike talk therapies, Resource Therapy targets the exact part of the personality holding pain, trauma, shame, or unhelpful behaviours. These internal parts—called Resource States—are accessed, validated, and helped to heal using evidence-informed techniques.

Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, or inner conflict, Resource Therapy creates space for healing from the inside out.

Suzanne Bocking counselling and supervision acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the original and ongoing custodians of the lands and waters on which we live and work.

We pay tribute to elders past and present and acknowledge that they have cared for this country over countless generations. We recognize the continuing contribution that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make to the life of Australia and pray that we can work together to leave a legacy of reconciliation, justice and hope for all future Australians.
