Clinical Supervision and Counselling.

Suzanne is a skilled counsellor, clinical supervisor, and educator with over 16 years of counselling experience and 5 years as a supervisor.

Areas of Strength – Counselling

  • Supporting individuals experiencing trauma, grief, and loss.

  • Working with clients navigating complex mental health challenges, including borderline personality disorder.

  • Utilizing evidence-based approaches such as DBT, ACT, CBT, and Resource Therapy for compassionate, effective care.

  • Assisting clients with personal growth, resilience-building, and overcoming life’s obstacles.

  • Offering faith-based counselling for individuals seeking spiritual integration in their journey.

 

Areas of Strength – Supervision

  • Guiding counsellors in setting up and thriving in private practice.

  • Providing Christian supervision, integrating faith-based perspectives.

  • Providing supervison to clinicians/front line workers in Indigenous organisations

  • Offering trauma-informed, culturally sensitive supervision for individuals and organizations.

  • Mentoring supervisors-in-training and delivering ACA and PACFA-approved supervision training.

  • Supervising professionals working with complex clients.

 

She is Level 4 ACA member (ACA #3542) and supervisor, and a clinical counsellor and supervisor with the College of Christian Counsellors (#201657).

Suzanne lectures at James Cook University and volutneers with community based organisations to support her local community.
